Since 1973, Spring Fling has been the ultimate student festival at Penn. The annual Spring Fling tradition consists of two parts: the night time concert on Friday and the themed-festival on Saturday afternoon. The Concerts Committee runs the night time concert on Friday while the SPEC Spring Fling (Daytime) Committee runs the daytime festival component.

The Concerts Committee is in charge of executing the annual Spring Fling concert in April for approximately 8,000 Penn students and community members. We are made up of students of all years at Penn who have an interest in music, marketing, event planning, and a wide variety of other fields. Throughout the year, the concerts committee has weekly meetings, where we discuss possibilities for our events, listen to music together, and just hang out. There are various perks as a committed committee member, such as being able to drive a golf cart, attend the Fling Concert for free, participate in meet-and-greet with artists behind stage.

Our larger renowned Spring Fling Concert has comprised of illustrious acts that include Flo Milli, Lil Yatchy, Cheat Codes, Tiesto, David Guetta, Chance The Rapper, Gryffin, Louis the Child, Zedd, Kygo, Chloe x Halle, Passion Pit, Janelle Monae, Lupe Fiasco, Rina Sawayama, Wale, WizKid, Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg, Kid Cudi, Akon, Ludacris, Gym Class Heroes, Third Eye Blind, The Roots, The Black-Eyed Peas, Cherub, Hall and Oates, Tinashe, JoJo, and countless others.
