SPEC-TRUM

SPEC-TRUM stands for “To Represent Undergraduate Minorities”

We plan events on campus that create inclusive spaces for students, focus on the needs of Penn’s undergraduate minority population, and celebrate the cultures of various minority groups. One of our committee’s responsibilities is to serve as a funding source for minority groups on campus – providing groups with the funding they need to host events that are open to Penn students.

We also host our own events that center around campus involvement. Past events include: Drake n’ Skate, Silent Disco, Tinydesk showcase, speaker events, and seasonal concerts. Over the years, we have invited artists and speakers, such as Young Nudy, Ari Lennox, Rico Nasty, Amine, Princess Nokia, Serena Williams, YG, Jeremih, Rae Sremmurd, Chance the Rapper, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, SMINO, and many more.

As a part of SPEC-TRUM, you’ll find many new friendships among the committee, make a valuable impact on the campus social scene, and, above all else, have a great time. As a committed general body member, you will also have the opportunity to attend the concert for free and participate in meet-and-greet with the artist behind stage.
